Course Overview

Delivered in English, this unique course covers the entirety of Nukhbah al-Fikar in tremendous detail. The course begins with an introduction to all the various books written in Muṣṭalaḥ al-Hadīth and then begins a deep-dive into Nukhbar al-Fikar.

The breadth and depth covered in the course is quite extraordinary. Each lesson covers PowerPoints, which collectively add to over 100 slides with discussions quoted from the mutaqaddimūn such as Imām al-Shāfīʿī (d.204 AH) and Imām Muslim (d.261 AH) right until the influential scholars such as Ibn al-Ṣalāḥ (d.643 AH) and Ibn Ḥajar (d.852 AH), Al-Sakhāwī (d.902 AH) and Al-Suyūṭī (d.911 AH) and finally leading to the discussions of contemporary scholars such as Shaykh Muḥammad ʿAwwāmah in his footnotes upon Tadrīb al-Rāwī, Shaykh Sharīf Ḥātim al-ʿAwnī in his Sharḥ al-Mūqiẓah, Shaykh Ibrāhīm al-Lāḥim in his Sharḥ al-Nuzhah, Shaykh Ḥamzah Malībārī in his Al-Muwāzanah, Shaykh Khālid al-Dirīs in his Al-Ḥadīth al-Ḥasan.
